MAC Christmas Silent Auction 2021 is an original way to celebrate the art of giving. Surprise yourself and see what you can find for Christmas!
Each year it is made possible by the many amazing donations, that we receive by private and commercial sponsors. Because just like us, they too find the free access to art important. The Minto Arts Council (MAC) wants to thank you for your continued support of MAC Gallery and future Basement Café events.
As we are all only too aware, Covid-19 has disrupted our lives and our normal activities. It has brought many challenges to individuals, businesses and organizations. The Minto Arts Council has been impacted too. As a result our gallery was forced to close off and on for 18 months.
Despite the challenges, we remain flexible and stay in touch with our community. We continue to support our young artists through our annual bursaries and supported the Harriston Rising mural project in 2020. The Minto Arts Council communicates with our patrons and volunteers through online and social media channels. The gallery re-opened in September 2021 under strict protocols. Showcasing the art show REFLECTIONS, by the Saugeen Artists Guild. After that the Square Foot Show III, by Kitchen-Waterloo SA in October.
The MAC Christmas Silent Auction 2021 runs from Tuesday November 16th, until Saturday December 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gallery. Located upstairs in the library of Harriston.
We are open with Ladies’ Night on Wednesday night, November 17th in Harriston.

We recognize that you may have been impacted by these difficult economic circumstances. However, if you can support us through a tax-deductible monetary contribution or an item donation to our Silent Auction, we are most appreciative. If you are unable to assist at this time, we do understand and hope to see you back in 2022.
All item donations need to be received by Saturday, November 13th, 2021.
