Jim Dillabough is a self-taught photographer. He lives in Durham Ontario, where he spends as much time as possible exploring the natural beauty of this interesting
and diverse ecosystem.
In his Wild Things – photography Jim Dillabough uses both macro and telephoto techniques. Combined with high resolution cameras, and sometimes camouflage, he is often to be found exploring the fields and wetlands of Grey-Bruce region. Searching for subjects to obtain close-up views of the wildlife in the area. This requires developing an understanding of the habitats and secretive behaviors of these creatures and leads him to a feeling of kinship and respect for those with whom we share this environment. He is hopeful that through his work he can help others feel the same way and he always looks forward to discussing photographic subjects and techniques.
