We can’t wait to hear The MacQueens, our Basement Café Concert openers later this month.
The MacQueens are a husband and wife duo armed with guitars, a ukulele, mandolin, assorted other noise makers and great songs. They are songwriters, performers and storytellers, who released their first EP, The Pearl, earlier this year.
Their eclectic musical tastes are evident in their unique sound that blends together singer/songwriter folk, rock, country, bluegrass, and even a touch of gypsy music. Their live performances are big on heart and groove, mixed with thoughtful lyricism and playful stage banter. We’re looking forward to a mix of original material and cover songs.
